About

Mission & Values

April Beila Studio is an eco art studio run by April B. Rosenberg, an eco artist working in mixed media collage, adornments made of reclaimed and natural materials, and rituals crafts for spiritual elevation.

Process

ABS creations are born from an intuitive selection process of gathering inspirational materials. Whether combing the beach for shells, thrifting, or flipping through vintage magazines, each creation begins with a treasure hunt for beauty, meaning, and connection. ABS creations are one of a kind with unique form, magic, and lore inspired by  the surreal and dark mystique of the natural world.

Ethics:

Sustainability

Ethical reuse of natural materials is a core value of April Beila Studio. April is interested in minimizing ecological impact through her craft by sourcing affordable, low impact materials that make her work both sustainable and accessible.

Animal Advocacy

As an animal advocate, any animal derived materials are always reclaimed and reused to avoid directly supporting cruel and exploitative industries.

Art that nourishes Spirit

In addition to priotizing sustainability, April Beila Studio embraces a spiritual connection to nature and the divinity of the natural world by acknowledging the metaphysical properties of natural materials.

Through an animist lens of the environment, ABS sees her work as living altars with powerful properties or spells that manifest through a tactile, visual language.

Care

ABS prioritizes quality materials while also maintaining that much of the materials sourced are precious, with a etherial nature that captures the ephemeral elegance of the natural world.  With special handling and care, all ABS creations can be preserved for years to come.
